Malabar Masala, located in Calicut, Kerala, is a well-known restaurant celebrated for its delectable grilled dishes and variety of flavours, all in a warm and inviting ambience.
They wanted a simple logo that represents the brand. So we came up with a wordmark logo with a minimal typeface and a small icon of the spice 'Star Anise,' commonly used in Indian cuisine.
The colour palette incorporates shades of brown and mustard yellow, with brown representing the colour of masala and yellow reflecting the hue of mustard, further aligning with the essence of Malabar Masala.
