The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) is a political party primarily based in Kerala, India. It is recognised as a State party in Kerala by the Election Commission of India. Its main purpose is to work for the socio-economic and political rights of Muslims and other communities, as well as to safeguard their cultural and religious identity within the framework of Indian constitution.
They are committed towards their empowerment and upliftment while promoting secularism and communal harmony in the country. In 2023, marking its 75th anniversary, they wanted an identity for their platinum jubilee celebration event.
We designed a logo inspired from traditional hand painted political wall arts and murals that are synonymous to Kerala. The logo also features a modern three dimensional typography for IUML abbreviation. It symbolised the party's transition towards a modern era and progress.
With green and black colours symbolising growth and determination, the logo reflects IUML's steadfast commitment to progress.
