The stage was bathed in light, banners were all up, chairs were neatly arranged, and giveaway bags were bursting with goodies. Our "Chaos Coordinator," Dhanesh Santhosh, buzzed with energy, ready to engage the audience. The session focused on copywriting, advertising, and brainstorming—all without frying your brain! The CEO of Yara Communications warmly welcomed everyone before handing the mic over to our ever-creative Dhanesh. One of the most valuable takeaways from the day, which impressed me, was the “art of proper proofreading'." Don’t leave it a widow: This catchy phrase refers to avoiding single, lonely lines of text. Read backward: This unexpected trick forces you to focus on individual words, catching typos you might otherwise miss. Tackle one error at a time: Break down proofreading into manageable chunks, focusing on typos, grammar, or punctuation in each pass. The session came alive while discussing brand attributes, benefits, truth, and insights exercises. Using Durex as an example, the room erupted with creative ideas. One participant even suggested a whole new flavor for their Kerala audience—Chakka (Jackfruit)! Dhanesh also demystified brainstorming, offering practical techniques to get those creative juices flowing effectively. By the end of the day, everyone was buzzing with new ideas, sharpened skills, and a newfound appreciation for the power of creative thinking. P.S. We're pretty sure the phrase "Never leave it a widow" will be etched in our minds!
